Manly things

...like flowers. They're easy to take pictures of, but I'm never sure whether they make good pictures or not, because everyone can set their camera to macro setting and take a picture of a flower

Dog numero three

So we decided it would be quite nice for Sam to have some company around the house, because he does get pretty lonely now Fudge is gone. We started looking around at what we'd want, and 3 days later we had a 5 month old puppy from a rescue centre; potentially a bit fast to get a proper gauge of her character, but it worked out well because the pair of them are so cute together

Originally Sam was a bit jealous of the fuss the new puppy got, and despite the flying tackle looking painful it led to a new game of trying to jump over each other's back. New dog settled in

And then there's Sam too...

I'm a big dog person - I love labradors, huskies, GSDs, and all the like - and usually I have very little time for the small dogs, but there's one little fella who's an exception

He has the adorable factor of a small dog, but then the heart of a big dog and in someone who's so small - even as westie's go - this makes him so unique I can't help liking him.
He's also very photogenic, and the only living subject who doesn't take offence to me taking photos...

I decided my first uploads had to be pictures of my chocolate labrador Fudge

I'm aware these aren't very good photos, backgrounds are too busy and focus and lighting isn't right yada yada yada, but I love this dog so much these never fail to make me smile

A select few that just completely sum up how she is, if you meet her you can't dislike her

First Post

So this is my first post, and it's not interesting, so hopefully I'll just get a few followers who constructively criticise my photos (Y)

This is just going to be a blog of my photos, unedited apart from cropping because I don't have the software, maybe a few of my thoughts on the pictures too

For anyone who cares - noone - photography is just a hobby of mine, and I don't have some ridiculous views of becoming a professional photographer, so these photos are not that great
